ASB Formal Report- August 2021
Jennaveve Albert
Link crew/ Renaissance Commissioner
September 2, 2021
Position assessment-
As link crew/ Renaissance Commissioner, I have two different sides to my job that I have responsibilities for. I’m responsible for working with Gabbi I and Jenna in everything we do. At the beginning of the school year, We planned Freshman/ new student orientation. For this, the US commissioners created groups of link crew leaders and students as well as making name tags for all of them. We divided 5 Costco containers of Jelly Beans into bags for each new student. On the day of the event, We came with our poster that had our group's number on them and was set up with morty. Other than that, We have counted all of our inventory for Renaissance as well as made sure we had everything. With the help of Derek we were also able to make a video to push out of social media and to teachers explaining everything about renaissance.
Special Committee-
The only special committee I am right now is the back to school decorations committee. For this I have helped make posters to go around the school, make canvas to post on social media, and have helped Emma with whatever she needed. I hope to stay on this committee because I like the little moments you make well making posters together.
Mentorship Evaluation-
My mentor is Gabby Delgado. This is her second year in leadership and she is in her junior year. So far we have worked together on our websites, and we have become close to the point where we can talk without it being awkward. We talked about school, what we did over the weekend, and what our plans are for lunch that day. Gabby has become one of those people I say hi to when I’m walking down the hall or I see her taking pictures at the football games. I’m excited to keep growing as friends and making memories with her.
Concerns-
I know a lot of people in the class aren’t used to going full swing at things, I think it’s important that we make sure to have breathing moments. If not, people might become stressed out since we are extremely busy with events right now.
Positive comment-
I would like to shout out Avery. She has been working so hard recently with the dance, especially with the dance. Avery has also stayed calm through all the chaos and made sure everything got done.
One change that you would like to see-
One change that I would like to see is for this leadership family to grow closer together. Yes, we have the mentorship which helps but I feel like since we either sit with our positions or our mentor. Those are the only people we are getting close two, when I wanted everyone to bond.
My impact- I impact little kids lives every week. Well I volunteer at my church to teach kids about Jesus. This is always one of my favorite parts of the week because you get to see the passion these kids have to learn about Jesus well making a relationship with them.

ASB Report - September- October
Jennaveve Albert
Renaissance/ Link crew Commissioner
October 14, 2021
Position Assessment-
In these past two months my main focus within my position has been Renaissance. There hasn’t been anything to work on having to do with Link Crew. For Renaissance, we had to go through every student that filled out our google sheet to register for the last quarter of last year to make sure they made the gpa requirement. From there we made individual bags for each persona and put their gold or red card in there as a pin if they needed one. We also labeled the bag with a R to remind us that we need to give that person an Academic R. Once we finished throughout the next week during 4th period we handed them out. Now we are about to start getting ready for next quarter.
Standing Committee-
As of right now I’m not part of any standing committees.
Special Committee-
For Homecoming I was part of the Coronation committee. For this we had to get all the candidate boxes ready, have people hand them to each individual, have people put up risers as well as put up candidate posters on the bleachers before the powderpuff game. Unfortunately, even though I was part of this committee I couldn’t help out as much as I wanted to because I was playing in the Powderpuff game. I did help with decorating the bleacher as well as help Naomi when she needed it. Aside from Coronation, I helped the sophomore class officers with Homecoming. For these I helped with the float, lip sync and the window decorations. I was also on the float during the parade.
Mentorship-
Me and Gabby Delgado have gotten a lot closer since the beginning of the year. We got lunch together and I went with Gabby to her Girls League meeting. It was awkward at first because I’m not part of that club but then we did a scavenger hunt around school which was really fun. During the scavenger hunt Gabby and I were running around school looking crazy, laughing because everyone was staring at us. This is going to be a memory that I will remember.
Concerns-
A concern that I have at the moment is that not everyone is respecting Morty and others well they are talking. What I mean by this is that I notice that people have been having a lot of side conversations distracting the rest of the class causing Morty or Naomi to yell at us. I feel like we need to stop this and start showing more respect to people talking and giving instructions.
Positive Comment-
I would like to give a shout out to Kylee, she has been kicking butt recently especially with Homecoming. Although we didn’t win, I think everyone could see how hard she was working to make this Hoco great. You can really tell how dedicated she is to this leadership family.
One change I would like to see-
I would like to see more people in leadership hang out outside of class. I feel like we have all bonded a lot since the beginning of the year but it’s been in the classroom. I want to see those bones get stronger where they hang out and possibly have a sleepover. Even to the movies, I just want them to make it last.
My Impact-
Recently I have started tutoring my neighbor who is in sixth grade. He has been struggling and his parents don’t understand his homework. So I have stepped in to help him and it’s nice to get that successful filling when he finally understands something.

ASB Report November/ December
Jennaveve Albert
Renaissance/ Link crew trainee
12/9/21
Position Assessment:
In these past two months Renaissance has been focusing on getting to gather and passing out Renaissance to those who filled out the google form for the 2nd quarter. As for link crew, we got approved for being back to Study Buddy nights with covid rules. For that we had to find a date that allowed for teachers and students to be able to make it a while to make sure that the cafeteria is open. We have also made Canva posts to publicize both events.
Standing Committee:
As of right now I’m not a part of any standing committees that I know of.
Special Committee:
Right now I’m not a part of any special committee.
Mentorship:
Me and Gabby have been really hitting it off. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Everytime we see each other we always stop to say hi and it’s one of my favorite parts of my day. She helps me stay on top of my journal because it's easy for me to forget. She overall is a great mentor and I'm excited to get lunch with her again.
Concerns:
A concern I have is that I have noticed that even though we have been switching up the seating arrangement each week, people are still seating with the same people and it doesn’t allow people like me who want to get closer to people in the class to do so.
Positive Comment:
I would like to give a shout out to Gabbi Illardi. She is an awesome person to be training me for the job I’m in. She is kicking butt at Renaissance and I honestly don’t know what we would do without her.
One Change:
One change that I would like to see is kind of going back to my concern but I would like to see people reach out and connect to people in the class that they haven't really talked to. I think it’s important that we make those bonds.
My Impact:
Recently, I have been trying to talk to people that I don’t normally talk to in my classes. This has been a good experience for me because now I know I always have at least one person to talk to in my classes and I bet they feel the same way. I have made some good friends by branching out and talking to people.
ASB meeting February/ March
Jennaveve Albert
Renaissance/ Link Crew Assistant
April 14, 2022
Position Assessment:
For the months of February and March, we had two main projects which were 8th grade day for link crew and 3 quarter renaissance. We had a lot to do with planning 8th grade day and we did most of the planning in January with finishing touches in February. We held the actual event on February 22nd where us plus all link crew members met at 8:00 am before school to get the gym ready and be ready outside to meet the kids from each school on their buses. For my group we had a special mission to get the transfer and out of district students from the counseling office. Overall the event went really well especially coming back from Covid and I don’t think any group lost a kid, which is good. For Renaissance, all we did was 3rd quarter renaissance which we did the same as always but we did put them in teachers boxes instead of passing them out which worked out really well.
Standing Committee:
Not in any at the moment.
Special Committee:
I’m part of the dance and decoration committee for the end of the year dance. For this we have planned the theme and ordered the decorations for it. We also have the date.
Mentorship:
Gabby and I have been constantly helping each other with mock interviews and getting the information for it on our websites, especially mine. She has helped me with my resume when I was confused about it. Overall I love having her to help me when I need it.
Concerns:
Right now the only concern I have right now is not having time to breath with how busy we are going to be with the last months of the school year. I think it's important to give us some breaks within it.
Positive comment:
I want to give a shout out to Emma and how she planned such a good Gallery of the Arts. I turned out really well with a good turn out. I loved being able to help set up and see the finished product. Her and her team did a great good.
One Change:
One change I would like to see is the seniors be more interactive with the longer class men. I mean they are with the ones they sit with but other than that I don;t see it. Maybe it’s just me because they don’t really talk to me.
My Impact:
I have impacted the world lately by helping my peers in Medical Terminology because I understand it. I have been able to help teach them in a different way then Mr.C.
Jennaveve Albert
Renaissance/ Link Crew Commissioner
May 19, 2022
Position Assessment:
In the last, we have had just a few things to finish up the year. We first finished the 3rd quarter renaissance and passed them out. We made a list of all the 4.0 students that need graduation tickets. Afterwards we used the list to help write each of their names and class on envelopes so that Morty could put their tickets in them. For Link Crew we started to plan for study buddy nights on May 16-17 as well as fill out the PO for snacks. We successfully completed both study buddy nights and still have left over snacks.
Standing Committee:
None at this time
Special Committee:
I have been apart of a couple special groups to help with the last couple events, for example tribe awards, college reveal and the EOTYD decorations. For tribe awards and college reveal, I helped Morty with setting up and cleaning up afterwards. I helped with picking out decorations for the dance and made sure we got everything when packages arrived as well as helped decorate before the Dance. All three of these events were successful.
Mentorship:
My mentor this year was Gabby Delgado. Having her as my mentor has been amazing. She is the sweetest and funniest person I know. I don’t say this enough but I’m truly thankful for everything she has done for me even if it’s just saying high whenever she sees me. She had helped me with multiple things for leadership like ASB reports and events that I haven’t experienced before. My favorite memory of us from this year is when she had a girls league meeting but she forgot and we already had plans to have lunch together so we ended up running around campus on a scavenger hunt.
Concerns:
I’m concerned that we still have a few conflicts from the challenge that people are still holding on too which is causing a little bit of tension.
Positive Comment:
I would like to give a shout out to Emma. She had been so busy working on all the end of the year events for the seniors. Yet she always comes into class with a smile and asks me how I’m doing. She is such a hard worker and I don’t think she knows that we see it. She is absolutely amazing and sometimes idk how she does it.
One Change:
I would like to see more book studies because I think they are really interesting and helpful. They make us reflect on things we normally wouldn’t. It also makes us have a healthy whole class conversation.
My Impact:
I told all my teachers about study buddy night Ann’s then they helped me publish it which made a lot of students that wouldn’t normally come, come which was really nice.
